Mending @ Dharma + Dwell

Learn to repair your ripped jeans and hole-y shirts with Alexis Giger of Little Cliff, a St. Louis-based mending and clothing repair studio. In this class, students will learn how to repair holes in woven garments using traditional mending and patching techniques. Each student will be able to experiment with sewing front and back applied patches, and are encouraged to bring their own garments to mend. Participants will learn how to make their repairs nearly invisible, or they can choose to experiment with decorative visible mending. The goal is to extend the lives of clothing according to each wearer's style!
