Darning and Mending @ Craft Alliance

Learn to repair your ripped jeans and hole-y sweaters with Alexis Giger of Little Cliff, a St. Louis-based mending and clothing repair studio. In this class, students will learn how to repair holes in both woven and knit garments using traditional mending and darning techniques. Each student will be able to experiment with mending different kinds of fabrics, and are encouraged to bring their own garments to mend. Participants will learn how to make their repairs nearly invisible, or they can choose to experiment with decorative visible mending.
